Individual Public Intervention

My inspiration for this project is Lily's The Square.I constructed a hollow square with 4 sticks of wood and had my friend (Solay) wear it while we both took a nice walk to downtown.I had another friend record our walk.My intention was obviously to maintain a distance between the public and Solay. I also wanted to see how people would rethink their steps while coming across Solay.
 We started out from the first Max stop at PSU,got of at Pioneer Square and headed to Starbucks for coffee, then we tried to go into the Mall but a security guard saw that we were filming and told us we cant do that in the mall.So we walked outside around and found people that we could walk into.In the end we had people stare at us,some talked to us,others ignored us. Oh Well!
